At Grace Baptist Church we believe prayer is simply talking to God and is at the heart of what we do. It is one way we express our thanks, show our love and worship our God and Saviour. Through it we have the privilege of bringing others before His throne of grace to ask Him to show His gracious favour to them.
As well as the prayer of individuals, we formally meet for prayer on Wednesday evenings and we have a ‘prayer chain’ for specific and urgent needs that can be used at any time.

there is something for everyone. New resources are being added weekly to the current wide assortment. Come in and search for a title, author or publisher and find a treasure of learning and enjoyment.
Music CD’s, DVD and VHS movies, reference and study materials, novels, biographies, a wide range of other written and audio materials and a great selection of children’s resources are all available to you, at no cost!
The Church Library is open to the congregation and community before and after all Sunday Morning Church Services and is also open during the weekly Children’s TNT Club activities for the convenience of the community and parents of the children. If you desire to have additional Christ honouring materials added to the Library inventory, drop by and discuss your ideas!

Grace Baptist Church Men’s Ministry
started in 1996 with a vision to
provide opportunities for all men
within our congregation to enhance
their relationships with God and with
their brothers in Christ!
A variety of small informal venues (BBQ’s, Study Groups, Prayer Groups etc.) provide opportunities for men to find encouragement and create/develop Christ centred relationships with other men of GBC. Here are a few comments:

Annual large events (Air Shows, Tradex Exhibits or Promise Keeper Conferences) can prove to be challenging for most men to participate! Yet, men who choose to initiate making adjustments to their personal schedules, generally find the fellowship encouraging, the spiritual aspects refreshing and the personal benefits well worth the effort. Road trip conversations as we travel together are often stimulating and generally lead into meaningful discussions about the daily issues/challenges that men face.

Our highlight monthly, (the last Saturday of the month) is gathering at the Hope Christian Men’s Group Breakfast. Occurring, year round, a selected speaker from one of our community congregations will share his personal testimony about his faith in Jesus Christ. This event is a great venue for all Grace Baptist men to grow in relationship with the men of the larger “church in Hope, B.C.” and to be part of something bigger!

The clubs start again January 10th. The clubs have lots of different activities and games whether that be in the gym or other areas in the church. They also listen to stories and learn scripture verses that show how much God loves them and how we should love others.

If you are between the ages of
12 & 18 and in grade 8 – 12, then
Friday night youth is a place you
want to be. We start our evening
off with loud music and videos to welcome you as you arrive. We then warm you up with a wild mixer game to help you get to know the other people in youth. Next we will have the planned event; these events range from gym nights, to fear factor to golden bulb awards night! Every Friday night there is something exciting happening, so you will want to be sure to check it out!!
Youth Bible Study
If you have ever had questions like “Who is God”, or “Why did He die for me”, or “Why was I created”? Then Bible Study is the place for you! Thursday nights we get together and try to find the answers to our questions. We get to know each other better, learn about God and pray for each other. The location for Bible Study is Karyn’s house.
He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion. But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.
