Welcome to gbchope.com! - the online presence of Grace Baptist Church in Hope, British Columbia, Canada.
It's our desire to provide you and your family with an online resource to assist you in taking one step closer to Jesus Christ. There's so much about Grace Baptist Church that we could tell you, but it would take way too much typing on our part and reading on your part to cover it all. What we've done is compiled information that we figure people would want to know about us. If you have more questions please contact us.
OUR HISTORY
Grace [Fellowship] Baptist Church had its beginnings in a Missionary effort sponsored by the West Coast Children's Mission. In the Spring of 1946, Peter and Susie Teichroeb came to Hope to work with children. As the Word of God was faithfully preached, the work expanded into a thriving congregation which was formally recognized in 1950 as the Wallace Street Baptist Church. As the church continued to grow, the need for more space became apparent. This led to the construction of a new building on 3rd ave, where, in 1958, Grace Baptist Church was dedicated. GBC has remained at 949 3rd Ave, Hope, BC, Canada, where it continues in its commitment to the spreading of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

2nd Annual Youth Cake Auction
2nd Annual Youth Cake Auction
Come out and support the youth of Grace Baptist Church.
This coming Saturday Night February 7th at 7pm.
The proceeds from the cake auction will go towards the upcoming youth conference to Kelowna on Feb. 27 to Mar 1.
The youth need YOUR support!
The way a cake auction works:
Those that are sitting at a table pool their money together and bid on their favourite cake. Once all the cakes are auctioned off, you get to enjoy your cake with a cup of coffee or tea or punch and watch the talent show.
It is an evening of fun!
